Social alienation is a pressing issue in both urban and rural areas. This is true for Poland’s Lublin Province and Sobole in eastern Poland, where Holis School held its 2017 edition. 

Bringing a community together is a difficult challenge, and it is particularly challenging for outsiders. This is why we believe that initiating change requires agile and engaged local agents.  Recognizing the potential of the local business community, we partnered with Spomlek, a regional cheese factory, to explore how local businesses can foster stronger connections with the communities they serve.
