From August 27th to September 4th, 2023, 21 participants hailing from 3 continents and representing 11 countries and diverse fields (including design, strategy, activism, and coding) convened at the picturesque Veronica Centre in Hostetin, Czech Republic—a place emblematic of sustainable values. Together with the three selected NGOs, they co-created innovative business and creative proposals to fortify their organizational resilience.
During the nine-day program, participants, organized into three teams and guided by three international team facilitators, developed three distinct, actionable projects tailored to each NGO. The projects focused on creating functions, activities, and sustainable business models.
Key insights that emerged from the workshop:
The most substantial potential for growth and resilience originates within the organizations rather than external influences.
Reaffirming an organization's mission and vision, particularly after sustained periods of operation, is a pivotal driver of resilience.
Exploring unconventional partnerships yields significant opportunities.
